A beautiful and curvaceous woman in a smoldering dress conjures an envy of the greenest form in the ill-confident and spiteful female. But in others, a simple, "That's a lovely dress. And I really like the timeless bag too! Chanel and her muse are truly alive and well, evidently. Awesome and very classy!"
Socrates, upon return from war, perhaps mindful of lessons learnt from the vagaries of war, asks to see the most beautiful boy in Athens. Perhaps mindful of how beauty was worshipped by Athenians. The boy found is Charmides. Socrates, asks the question, "what of your temperance?". Physical beauty is not enough.
